Bookkeeping & Accounting

Records kept on the accounting framework that applies to your business, organized the way FBR and SECP actually expect to see them.

Clean books are the foundation everything else — tax filings, audits, loan applications — is built on. We keep your records accurate and current using the accounting framework that applies to your business, and organized the way FBR and SECP actually expect to see them.

Built around Pakistan's reporting rules

Companies in Pakistan report under a tiered framework set by SECP and ICAP: small-sized entities can use a simplified accounting and financial reporting standard, medium-sized entities choose between IFRS for SMEs or full IFRS, and large or listed companies must use full IFRS. We keep your books on the standard that actually applies to your company's size, so your year-end statements convert into statutory filings without rework.

Record-keeping isn't optional or informal. Under Section 174 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, books of account must be retained for a set number of years, and the Sales Tax Act, 1990 sets out separately what a registered person must keep to support every return filed. Good bookkeeping means those three obligations — income tax, sales tax, and SECP's statutory books — stay reconciled with each other instead of drifting apart, which is usually where problems surface at audit or filing time.
