Tax Preparation & Planning

Accurate, on-time filing with the Federal Board of Revenue, and planning that keeps your tax position defensible all year, not just at filing time.

Every taxpayer in Pakistan — salaried individual, sole proprietor, or company — deals with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) through the IRIS online portal, and the rules reward the organized and penalize the late. We prepare and file returns, manage withholding tax reconciliations, and plan ahead so your tax position is accurate, defensible, and never left to the last week of the filing season.

Filing in Pakistan's tax system

Pakistan's tax system runs largely on withholding at source — tax is deducted on salaries, contracts, dividends, profit on debt, imports, and dozens of other transactions before you ever file a return. Filing season is really a reconciliation exercise: matching what was withheld against what was actually owed, and claiming back what wasn't. We handle that reconciliation and file through IRIS, FBR's e-filing portal.

Staying on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) matters beyond compliance. Non-filers pay materially higher withholding tax on banking transactions, property transfers, vehicle registration, and dividends than filers do, so a missed or late return has a real cost that compounds through the year, not just a penalty at filing time.

Services businesses have an added layer: sales tax on services isn't collected by FBR but by the provincial revenue authority where the service is rendered — the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA), Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), or Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA). We register and file with the right authority for your province, not just the federal one.
